QR Code Check-In
A physical QR code placed at the client's home. Carers scan it with the app to verify they're on-site. Simple, reliable, and works without GPS.
How it works

- 3Carer arrives, opens the app, and scans the QR code to check in.

Geolocation Check-In
A virtual geofence around the client's address. The app checks the carer's GPS position and only allows check-in when they're within range.
How it works
- 1A virtual geofence is set around the client's address using Google Maps.
- 2Managers define a radius (10m to 500m, default 100m) around the location.
- 3Carer arrives and opens the app — the system checks their GPS position.
- 4If within the radius, they can check in. Same process for check out.
Key details
- Centre point auto-detected from client address, or manually adjust by dragging the pin.
- Visual map preview shows the exact geofence boundary.
- Recommended radius: 100–200m to account for GPS drift.
- Toggle per client: require on-site check-out verification.
- Toggle per client: send alerts when check-in fails outside the geofence.
